Yes, we can “port” your current number to our phone system. You can also choose to get a new phone number, if you prefer. We will review all the details with you during the order process.

Note: If you choose to keep your phone number, please do not cancel your existing phone service until your installer confirms that your phone number has successfully transferred to Revolution’s system.

In order to maintain phone service during a power outage, the modem/router needs to be powered by a battery backup. Alternately, if you have a whole-home generator, your phone will work during a power outage. Your technician will review this with you during the installation process.

Please call 570-268-1349 and select option 3 for any service issues or technical questions. A technical service representative is available 24/7 to assist you. If the problem cannot be resolved over the phone, a technician will be assigned. You can also use SmartHub to contact us to report an issue with your phone service.

Occasionally, network maintenance is required to keep our equipment and software up-to-date so we can provide the best internet experience for our customers. Advanced notice will be sent to all Revolution customers via automated phone calls and emails (please be sure that we have your correct primary phone number and email address on your account so you receive these notifications). The alert bar on this website will also be activated to provide information about the scheduled maintenance.

We will work to minimize service disruptions and outages, but we ask for your patience when issues arise.

Our phone service uses Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which delivers calls over your internet connection rather than a traditional copper phone line. While VoIP works great for everyday calling, some older devices that rely on a standard phone line may not be fully compatible, including certain personal emergency response systems and traditional home security systems.

Before you switch, we strongly recommend:

  • Contacting your medical alert provider to confirm whether their device is compatible with VoIP service.
  • Contacting your home security provider to ask the same. Many modern security systems already support VoIP or have an upgrade path — but it’s worth verifying before you make the switch.

We want to make sure your most critical systems keep working without interruption. If you have questions or aren’t sure where to start, give us a call and we’ll do our best to help you sort it out.
